No. We supply acousto-magnetic consumables compatible with most systems on the market, including those installed by other providers.

What is the difference between a soft label and a hard tag?

The soft tag adheres to the packaging and is deactivated at the checkout without being removed; it is consumed with each sale. The hard tag is removed using a detacher and is reusable. The former is suitable for high volumes and slim products, while the latter is ideal for textiles and high-value items.

What is source tagging?

This involves applying the security tag upstream in the supply chain rather than in-store. It eliminates the time your staff spends tagging items and ensures no product reaches the shelf unprotected.

Can I order without a maintenance contract?

Yes, restocking is handled independently. Some clients bundle it with their maintenance contract to simplify tracking, but this is not mandatory.

Do the tags have an expiration date?

They can be stored for a long time if kept dry and away from magnetic sources. However, a label that is improperly stored or folded may lose effectiveness; we provide guidelines on best storage practices.

How do you estimate the quantities needed?

Based on the sales volume of the shelves to be protected, not your floor area. We calculate this with you during the initial order and then adjust based on actual figures.

The tag emits a signal picked up by the security gates at the store exit. If an item that has not been deactivated passes through the threshold, the alarm triggers. At the checkout, the tag is deactivated in a single motion—the customer leaves, and no alarm sounds.
