What is the difference between acousto-magnetic (AM) and radio-frequency (RF) systems?
Acousto-magnetic technology offers a wider detection range and greater resistance to electromagnetic interference; it is the technology chosen by most major retailers. Radio frequency is cheaper to purchase but generates more false alarms in high-traffic or cluttered environments. We recommend AM technology in most cases.
Does the installation require closing the store?
No. A standard installation generally takes one day after the site assessment and can be scheduled before opening, after closing, or on a day the store is closed.
Can an anti-theft system be added to an existing store layout?
Yes.
